What is Ultrasound?
Ultrasound technology is the incorporation of high frequency sound waves to create diagnostic and therapeutic images and allows the visibility of different tissues of the body in a safe and painless manner.
How does mobile ultrasound work?
Like in regular ultrasound machinery, in the Medex Mobile Ultrasound services, a small device—a transducer–sends and receives sound waves that are stored in the machine. The sound waves are analyzed and recorded as a graphic image.
Doppler studies use the same ultrasound application for the study of arteries and veins to detect blood flow through continuous wave Doppler, colour Doppler or pulsed wave Doppler.
